       Who Are We?

Sinbad's Hot Dogs originated in San Leandro, California. It rapidly earned the reputation among locals as the spot for hot dog lovers. The foot-long franks are steamed to perfection and served on a steamed bun.

Sinbad’s migrated from San Leandro to Northern Nevada in May of 1978. Discovering that there weren't any quality hot dog restaurants in the Reno/Sparks area, we knew this hot dog would have a great following among true local aficionados. So, in May of 1978 we opened the first store in downtown Reno. 

After several months, it was clear we had a wiener...winner!

  
           
                   
In September of 1979 we purchased the Sinbad's Hot Dogs location in Sparks, Nevada. In this, our flagship store, we  have sold more than 1,950,000 hot dogs in our 30 year history.

As it turns out, the recipe for Sinbad's Hot Dogs dates back as far as the 1930's. The all-beef foot-long franks have been enjoyed by aficionados ever since.

Yet, there is more to Sinbad's than great hot dogs. It's the fast and friendly service that has made it so popular in Northern Nevada. Whether you dine in or take out, you are not a customer of Sinbad’s, you are a part of our family.
