These are just a few local businesses, groups or people that we like to call our friends. Take a look at some of the things going on with them.
Soul Art By Jess (Jessi Upton) We have been honored to have know Jessi since birth and she couldn't be closer to our hearts if she were our own
child. Jessi Upton is a five year old Reno resident who was diagnosed with autism at age two. She was almost completely nonverbal until the winter of 2007, when she began to paint on canvas over a break from school. Check out her growth and work at this link or stop by Sinbad's to see our favorite piece. "Ketchup Mustard and Relish- a Dog at Sinbad's"
We were fortunate enough to get hooked up with these great folks just because they (Kim) loved our dogs. Hot Dogs that is! But over the last
year or so we have been invited to help touch the hearts of some of Reno's foster childen through a poker run that we were happy to cook at. Then over Christmas they allowed us to add a "Toy Barrel" to Sinbads for these same children. These are some great folks with and amazing heart. Oh yah, and they have some SICK ASS rides at their place. Stop in and check out an Arlen Ness Victory or any of their other great rides.
This is an Annual Fundraiser poker run (for any vehicle) that is held every June and runs through the sierra mountains. This is a great cause and all proceeds go to fund their abilitie to help save lives and property. These are a great group of people and we are proud to be a sponsor of this event.

If you would like to donate or even participate you can do either by reaching out to them at EPRFPD@att.net or by calling 530-832-5626 or 530-832-4526.
STEP2 is a comprehensive residential and out-patient treatment program that provides women and their children suffering from chemical addiction, poverty and domestic violence the opportunity to rebuild their lives. The result is self-sufficient healthy families.
The organization, a private non-profit, is the only treatment program in Northern Nevada and one of the few in the country that accommodates women with young children. Since many clients are suffering from poverty in addition to chemical addiction no woman is ever turned away because of her inability to pay for treatment.
This is a great cause and we are proud to be involved with them.

These are partners of ours and we give back to them and the
kids by cooking our famous Sinbad's Hot Dogs, among other things. We then give them a portion to support the kids and the program that teaches so much more than just baseball fundementals. Come out and support the kids. We would love to see you there.

The great thing about Reno/Sparks is it's a year-round vacation destination. Whether you're visiting to hit the slopes or slots, Reno and nearby Lake Tahoe pretty much has it all.
If you are planning a trip to Reno let this site guide the way.
